Pete Balthrop Jr. brings veteran size and trench experience to Western Carolina’s defensive line
Pete Balthrop Jr. is a **senior defensive lineman** at Western Carolina with a sturdy **6-foot-0, 265-pound** frame and multi-year experience in the Catamounts’ program, making him the kind of interior body that can help anchor a front with maturity and physicality.[2] His value is more about **reliability, leverage, and veteran presence** than flashy stats, and he’s the type of player who can fit a team needing depth, toughness, and a workmanlike DL presence rather than a pure pass-rush specialist.[2][5]
