Kevin Adams III brings Tulane a versatile, rising safety with playmaking juice
In the 2025 season, Kevin Adams III looked like a legit defensive backfield tone-setter for Tulane: 37 tackles, 1 interception, and 3 passes defended, following a 2024 season with 40 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and an interception.[1][2] He’s praised as a returning core piece for 2026, and the buzz is that his mix of downhill urgency, ball skills, and special-teams pop makes him more than just a stat sheet guy—he also brought high-school track speed (10.7 in the 100) and a knack for big moments.[2][8][14]
