Grant Nelson gives BYU a long, experienced linebacker with a proven football résumé
Nelson is listed by BYU as a 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker, and recruiting services still view him as a legitimate national-level prospect; On3 places him inside its national player rankings and 247Sports lists him with NFL Draft potential. He stands out for size, versatility, and a track record that people around BYU have described as smart and dependable, though his football profile is clouded by an older, separate BYU career entry and limited current game production data in the available sources. If you want a linebacker with length, maturity, and upside rather than a flashy stat-sheet collector, Nelson is the kind of name worth circling.
