Nick Barnes brings Monmouth a true rim presence with upside
Nick Barnes is a center worth tracking for Monmouth because his value profile is built on the stuff coaches love but box scores don’t fully capture: size, paint presence, and matchup-specific defense. Publicly available team stat pages do not show enough recent individual production to safely label him a stat leader, so the cleaner read is that Barnes projects as a role big whose fit depends on rebounding, screening, and protecting the lane. If your team wants a physical interior anchor rather than a high-usage scorer, he looks like a sensible add.
