Ryan Swift remains a depth-and-experience linebacker, but the Maryland status is unclear
Ryan Swift appears in Maryland’s old player bio as a veteran linebacker known for depth, special teams value, and experience after battling injuries, but the available source is historical rather than current, so there is no reliable 2026 performance line to cite. In the 2013 bio, his differentiators were toughness, versatility, and having already logged 25 games for the Terps; if you’re evaluating him as a fit, the profile reads like a steady, physical role player rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine.
