Kolbi Kochi is a rising Hawai'i bat with gap power and clutch upside
Kochi is an emerging **contact-first, high-leverage hitter** for Hawai'i who flashed immediate impact as a freshman in 2025, hitting .286 with extra-base pop in limited duty, then delivered a first career home run and multiple multi-hit games in 2026 highlights. Her value goes beyond stats: Hawai'i lists her as a power-hitting corner infielder/catcher with proven championship pedigree from Mililani, plus a reputation for big-game production and offensive versatility. If you want an energetic, competitive bat who can develop into a middle-order fit, she’s worth tracking.
