Former Arizona State deep-threat prospect with size-speed upside
Randy Knust was a 6-foot-3, 200-pound wide receiver recruit for Arizona State, originally rated as the No. 130 WR prospect in the country and praised for being a tremendously productive, explosive, physical playmaker. In high school, he showed big-play juice with 33 catches for 806 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior, plus 15 catches for 455 yards as a junior, while also contributing on kickoff returns. The appeal here is obvious: length, speed, and vertical-play ability. The caveat? He was a 2010 recruit and spent his ASU seasons on the scout team, so this is more a pedigree-and-upside story than a current on-field production profile.
