Jonathan Carson brings veteran bulk and trench toughness to Central Michigan
Jonathan Carson is a senior defensive lineman for Central Michigan in the 2026 season, listed at 6-foot-3 and 277 pounds, giving him the kind of frame coaches love in the middle of a defense.[1] His best calling card is old-school interior toughness: he’s the type of DL who can hold his ground, absorb blocks, and help set the edge against the run rather than just chase splash plays. He’s a fit if your team wants experience, size, and reliable physicality up front; the only real caveat is that his public profile is more “steady veteran” than “headline-grabbing disruptor.”[1]
