Clemson's ACC Academic All-Star Infielder with a .339 Bat and 6 HRs
Marian Collins is a high-intensity, left-handed hitting infielder for the Clemson Tigers who differentiates herself as a dual-threat leader: in the 2026 season, she led the team with a .339 batting average, 14 doubles, and 6 home runs while earning All-ACC Academic Team honors [1][8]. Standing 5'11" with a powerful swing, she posted 36 RBIs and 33 runs, including a clutch 2-for-2 performance with a home run and 3 RBIs against Furman [1][2][3]. Ranked on Softball America's May Rankings as the No. 9 shortstop nationally, Collins combines elite defensive precision on double plays with an aggressive, clutch offensive mindset [5][6]. Her 100th career hit milestone and academic discipline signal a mature, reliable fit for any team needing a high-character, stat-leading infield anchor [9].
