Hannah Werth is Iona’s do-it-all glue piece in the outfield
In the 2026 season, Hannah Werth started 50 of 51 games for Iona and hit .196, but her value shows up everywhere else: she scored 20 runs, drew 20 walks, stole bases, and finished with a .978 fielding percentage in the MAAC stats. She wrapped her Iona career with 110 hits, 71 runs, 32 stolen bases, and 65 walks, which says “steady contributor” and “spark plug” in the same breath. Reliable, experienced, and seemingly always in the middle of a key inning, she looks like the kind of player coaches trust when the game gets tight.
