K-State depth piece with limited proven production
Jerad Johnson is a Kansas State linebacker whose profile currently reads more like a rotational/depth defender than a proven stat-stuffer; available stat aggregators show only 3 total tackles in his Kansas State career, with no sacks or passes defended listed. That means the appeal is less about headline numbers and more about what a staff may value behind the scenes: toughness, special-teams utility, and developmental upside in a physical Big 12 program. If you want immediate-impact production, he’s not the flashy grab; if you want a hard-nosed, coachable piece who can grow into a role, he’s worth a closer look.
