Brendan McKinley brings a starter’s frame, strike-throwing feel, and upside to ULM’s rotation
In the 2025 season at Big Bend CC, Brendan McKinley made 13 starts, went 4-6 with a 4.03 ERA, and logged 76 innings with 53 strikeouts against 28 walks; in 2024, he posted a 6-3 record with a 2.44 ERA over 62.2 innings. He also threw two complete games in each season, including a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts in his final 2025 start, which hints at real competitiveness and a starter’s durability. At 6-foot-0, 190 pounds, he looks like a lefty who can handle volume and give ULM a dependable innings-eater with room to keep climbing.
