Aiden Jovia brings versatility and poise to Iona’s utility mix
Aiden Jovia is a 2026 Iona Gaels utility player who gives the roster flexibility and a steady glove, and in 2026 he also showed composure on the mound by working 17.1 innings with a 5.19 ERA and 14 strikeouts in the Gaels’ cumulative stats. He already flashed the kind of calm that coaches love, escaping early-inning jams in a March 17 win over Mercy with runners on and the bases loaded. At 5'7" and 155 pounds, he looks more craft-and-instinct than flash, which makes him a useful depth piece if your team wants a low-drama, multi-role competitor.
