veteran Kansas State forward with glue-guy value
Austin Budke is a 6-6 Kansas State forward who carved out a role as a tough, reliable walk-on-turned-scholarship player, appearing in 56 career games for the Wildcats and bringing blue-collar energy, maturity, and team-first reliability. In the 2016-17 season, he averaged 0.9 points and 0.4 rebounds in limited minutes, so he was never a box-score magnet—but his real value was as a steady practice presence and depth piece who understood his job. If you want a low-ego, high-character frontcourt piece who won’t rattle the system, Budke fits the bill.
