promising Idaho guard with a Canadian pedigree
Makenna Jacklin’s Idaho profile shows a multi-sport, high-upside guard from Kelowna who earned a provincial second-team all-star nod in high school and arrived at Idaho as a 6'1" freshman; the key attraction is her backcourt versatility and developmental ceiling rather than a heavy college statistical resume, since her documented 2021-22 role was limited to four games and eight total minutes. She looks like a fit for a program that values long-term growth, size on the perimeter, and a player who has already proven she can lead and win at the prep level.
