steady YSU back with reliable production and veteran polish
In the 2025 season, Youngstown State RB Dana Brown has 77 carries for 275 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 3.6 yards per carry[1][14]. His calling card is dependability: a fundamentally sound, low-drama runner who was described as quiet off the field but “loud and explosive” on it, with a workmanlike style that helps a team stay on schedule[3]. He looks like a fit for a program that values toughness, trust, and consistency over flash—solid, not flashy, but exactly the kind of back coaches love in September and need in November[1][3].
