a sharpshooting Redbird guard with proven backcourt savvy
Landon Shipley is best known as a steady, experienced guard who earned a reputation as an excellent shooter and savvy playmaker during his college career, including a 40% three-point mark in his 2008-09 season at Illinois State. He brings floor-spacing, clean decision-making, and a competitive edge rather than flashy one-on-one scoring, which makes him a fit for teams that value poise and efficient guard play. The main caution: his profile is more “connector and shot-maker” than high-usage creator, so he fits best in a disciplined system.
