Hailey Pierson brings frontcourt size and a proven rebounding base to Samford
Pierson profiles as a steady, physical forward whose high school résumé at Brentwood Academy featured 10.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game as a senior, plus 1,058 career points and 744 rebounds, signaling a player who can impact possessions on both ends. Her value is in toughness, board work, and reliable interior production rather than flash, and Samford’s roster notes show she was trusted enough to earn all-region recognition and a state all-tournament honor. For a team needing a hardworking, low-ego frontcourt piece, she looks like a fit with a clear rebounding identity and a solid competitive base.[1]
