Physical, high-ceiling BYU linebacker with Power-5 bloodlines
Nathan Hoke is a big-bodied, downhill linebacker who arrived at BYU with a respectable recruiting profile, including a 247Sports ranking as the No. 66 inside linebacker nationally in his class. He’s the son of former Cougar and Super Bowl champion Chris Hoke, which adds real pedigree, and reports around his high-school tape consistently described him as physical with room to add more strength. The catch: his college sample is extremely small, as he redshirted in 2024 and entered the transfer portal in April 2025 after appearing in just one game, so he’s more projection than proven production right now.
