Towson’s veteran guard with local pedigree and two-way upside
Shanea Butler is a Waldorf, Md. guard whose profile is built on playmaking, toughness, and defensive activity rather than empty-fluff scoring; in her high school days, she was ranked No. 7 in the DMV and posted 16.7 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.5 steals per game as a junior, signaling a combo guard who can pressure both ends of the floor. Her value is the kind coaches love: multi-guard versatility, competitive edge, and a track record of being a key contributor. If your team wants a steady, disruptive backcourt piece with local roots and real grit, she’s the type worth a serious look.
