Holy Cross Kicker with 61.5% FG% and Elite Consistency Under Pressure
A.J. Wells, Holy Cross’s place kicker (#36), posted a 61.5% field goal percentage in the 2025 season, showcasing remarkable consistency despite the Crusaders’ winless 0-6 start. Standing 6-1, 175 lbs from Buena Vista, GA, Wells distinguishes himself with intense pre-game focus, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a reputation among teammates as the ‘steady hand’ when games hinge on one kick. Though no major injury history is reported, his intensity level and personality traits—disciplined, reliable, and quietly confident—make him a high-fit prospect for any team needing a kicker who thrives in tight moments. He’s not just a stat leader; he’s the emotional anchor in the kicking unit.
