Ella Milante brings steady, high-contact production and dependable defense behind the plate
Milante is a left-on-right catcher who gives Siena value in two ways: she puts the ball in play and handles the pitching staff with consistency. In 2025, she hit .270 with a .377 on-base percentage, drove in 15 runs, posted a .991 fielding percentage, and threw out 7 of 21 runners trying to steal, while earning an Academic Honor Roll nod. Her earlier Chapman and high-school track record suggests a player with real game-to-game reliability, not just occasional pop. She looks like a good fit for a team that wants a tough, composed catcher who can stabilize the battery and contribute without forcing the offense.
