Hampton Pirates DL with Solid Foundations but Limited Spotlight Stats
Ohmante Jenkins, a defensive lineman for the Hampton Pirates, brings reliable FCS-level presence with per-game stats from the 2022 season showcasing his early promise on ESPN's game logs—though recent team struggles, like the 28-10 loss to No. 9/10 Monmouth in 2025 where Hampton fell to 2-7 (0-5 CAA), highlight defensive challenges. His differentiator is consistent effort and physicality as a Hampton product, ideal for teams seeking developmental depth without high-maintenance personalities; watch for breakout potential if Pirates rebound, making him a low-risk fit for mid-major programs building trenches.
