Lewis Applewhite brings interior disruption and edge-to-edge toughness to Tennessee State
Lewis Applewhite is a Tennessee State defensive lineman whose value comes from trench work that doesn’t always light up a box score: leverage, effort, and the kind of snap-to-whistle physicality coaches love. I couldn’t verify current 2026 game stats or rankings from the available source set, so the cleanest read is that his appeal is in being a reliable, high-motor DL fit who can hold gaps, fight through contact, and bring an aggressive tone to the front seven. If your team wants a steady, blue-collar defender who makes life annoying for offenses, he’s worth a hard look.
