steady, undersized Duke linebacker with special-teams grit
Jason Hoffman has been a depth-and-development linebacker for Duke, appearing in 20 career games through the 2022 season and recording four total tackles, with a 2022 role that included nine games played and 79 snaps. He looks like a classic “know your job, fly to the ball” defender: compact at 5-10, 223, experienced, and battle-tested from Lewisburg, where he posted 159 tackles and 18.5 tackles for loss as a prep standout. The fit is best for teams valuing toughness, effort, and versatility over flashy measurables.
