Da'Kquan Davis brings downhill pressure and proven passing to Albany
Davis stands out as a lead-guard type who can create offense, distribute the ball, and stay involved defensively; in his 2024-25 season at Florida State, he averaged 8.8 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals in 32 games, while also starting 20 times, which points to real trust from the staff[6][10]. His shot profile is the main swing skill—he was efficient enough at the line (82.6%) but inconsistent from deep (27.9%), so Albany gets a guard with pace, toughness, and playmaking upside more than a finished scoring product[1][6].
