A veteran mauler who anchored Richmond’s offensive front
Altman was a durable, high-level line presence for Richmond, starting all 13 games at right tackle in 2005 and helping the Spiders allow just 21 sacks that season while posting 4,957 yards of total offense, then anchoring a line that gave up only 15 sacks in 2006. He was a 2005 third-team all-conference pick and a 2006 team captain, which tells you the deal: tough, trusted, and technically sound. If you want a dependable OL with leadership, consistency, and pro-level size (6-5, 325), he’s the kind of fit coaches love.
