Chris Lanaux profile unavailable for current Louisiana DE role; historic Ragin' Cajun defender and now team broadcaster
Chris Lanaux’s Louisiana football background is well documented, but the available sources do not show current on-field production for a present-day DE roster spot; instead, they identify him as a former Ragin’ Cajuns defensive end who earned the program’s Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2006-09-era history and later became the team’s radio color commentator. That makes him notable more for program pedigree, defensive experience, and football IQ than for current stat-line impact, so he’s a fit to study as a veteran football voice rather than a currently active player.
