active NFL cornerback with a proven ball-hawk profile and top-end playmaking flashes
Alex Johnson is an active cornerback with the Indianapolis Colts, and the clearest reason to care is his playmaking ceiling: in college, he led the Pac-12 with five interceptions in 2023 and added impact plays like a fumble-return TD and a blocked punt, showing he can change a game beyond routine coverage snaps. He’s a fit for a team that values instinct, speed-to-thrown-ball reactions, and special-teams value, though his pro résumé is still developing and the most useful context is that his best trait is disruptive instincts rather than proven NFL production.
