UNLV's Dean's List LHP with Elite Relief Intensity
LJ Manning, a 6'2" junior left-handed pitcher for UNLV, stands out not just for his 18 relief appearances in the 2026 season, but for his Dean's List academic honors (Fall 2025, Spring 2026), proving he combines elite baseball intensity with intellectual discipline. His differentiator is a rare 'student-athlete' mindset that fuels high-pressure relief work, as seen when he entered to secure an 11-1 lead in a key game, showcasing calm under fire. With no reported injury history and a 190-lb frame built for durability, Manning is a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, mentally tough lefty who thrives in critical moments and brings championship-level focus off the field.
