Davond Dade brings proven Portland State production and NFL-sized edge presence
Dade is a 6'3", 260-pound edge defender whose value comes from proven college production and a strong frame for setting the edge and generating disruption; Portland State listed him as a four-year letterwinner with over 100 career tackles and 10 sacks, and he earned an NFL rookie free-agent shot after that run. His game profile suggests a physical, experienced defender more than a flash-only athlete, though current snap-based production is limited in available PFF data. For a team needing a sturdy, assignment-sound DE with upside as a pressure player, he looks like a credible fit.
