Christian Charalambous is flashing real Friday-night upside for Presbyterian
In the 2026 season, the redshirt sophomore lefty has become Presbyterian’s innings-and-strikeout leader, highlighted by a complete-game shutout of UNC Asheville on March 14 with seven strikeouts and just four hits allowed. He’s a battler with legit stamina, ability to miss bats, and the poise to carry a staff deep into games—exactly the kind of arm coaches trust when the game tightens up. The stats are a little uneven, but the ceiling is obvious: if you want a competitive, durable left-handed starter with a breakout pitcher's swagger, Charalambous is worth a serious look.
