Post-College Rebounding Beast with Iona Pedigree
6'2" Spanish forward Vega Lopez, an Iona Gaels alum from Madrid, exploded post-graduation with a dominant double-double season—8.6 RPG (9th in league) and 54.9% FG—earning Player of the Week honors for her relentless board-crashing and efficient inside scoring.[4] Her international pedigree shines through tough, physical play seen in high school highlights as a versatile PF/C,[5] making her a high-motor rebounder with no notable injury flags. Care because she's a proven difference-maker in the paint; perfect fit for teams needing gritty frontcourt depth and winning intangibles.[1][2][3]
