Ball State CB Andre Dawson: Experienced cover man with a sturdy frame and proven ball skills
Andre Dawson is a 6-foot, 189-pound cornerback at Ball State who brings size, experience, and a track record of making plays in coverage. In 2011, he logged 22 total tackles, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup, then added four tackles in 2012, showing he can contribute in multiple ways even when the stat sheet is quiet. His best differentiators are his length, physicality, and steadiness, which fit a team looking for a dependable boundary defender rather than a highlight-chasing gambler. With his veteran profile, he looks like a solid fit for a system that values discipline and toughness on the back end.
