Alabama State Hornets' Steady Punter with Untapped Potential
Roberto Hernandez, the Alabama State Hornets' punter, brings reliability to the special teams unit with his consistent leg strength and placement, drawing from early high school promise at Somerset Academy where he posted 13.8 yards per catch as a WR in 2021-22—hinting at athletic versatility. Still developing at the FCS level, his poise under pressure and football IQ make him a low-risk fit for teams seeking a dependable punter who thrives in high-intensity moments without injury red flags.
