a Sacramento State defensive lineman remembered for toughness, not stat-sheet flash
Bloomfield was a 6-foot-1, 245-pound defensive lineman and team captain for Sacramento State, remembered more for his intensity, leadership, and resilience than for flashy numbers. His profile stands out because he was a centerpiece of the Hornets’ defense, a key figure on Grant’s 2008 state-title team, and a player whose impact still resonates at Sac State, where his No. 43 is retired. If you value toughness, locker-room respect, and a player who brings edge and identity, he fits the mold.
