Vanderbilt’s crafty, physical cover man with NFL pedigree
Jimmy Williams is a former Vanderbilt cornerback whose game was built on toughness, return ability, and all-around playmaking: in the 1999 season, he led the Commodores in rushing yards, return yards, receptions, and touchdowns before earning Freshman All-SEC honors. He later developed into an All-SEC-caliber defensive back, and that versatility plus edge make him a fit for teams that value competitive, multi-phase athletes who can impact games beyond pure coverage snaps.
