Desmond Smith remains a UCA receiving benchmark, but the latest public stat trail is old
Desmond Smith’s profile at Central Arkansas is built on production and separation skills: in the 2016 season, he logged 46 catches for 616 yards and 7 touchdowns, and earlier in his UCA career he posted 67 receptions for 817 yards in the 2015 season, showing volume, reliability, and red-zone value. He also set UCA career marks for receiving yards and receptions, which is the kind of résumé that signals high football IQ, toughness, and consistency. If you want a polished route-runner who can be a primary chain-mover, Smith fit the bill; the caveat is that the publicly available data is from his UCA playing days, not a current 2026 performance line.
