Versatile South Alabama DB with special-teams value and steady depth upside
Martin brings **multi-phase value** as a defensive back who has also contributed on special teams, including a blocked-punt return for Kansas State in 2021, which hints at instincts and quick-trigger playmaking. He’s the kind of depth piece that can help a secondary by knowing his role, playing with effort, and handling multiple assignments; his current South Alabama profile lists him as a DB, and ESPN credits him with 9 solo tackles, 1 pass breakup, and no interceptions or forced fumbles. He’s a fit for teams wanting a reliable, experienced defensive back with utility beyond the box score.
