Athletic Charlotte linebacker with upside, but limited game tape
Scotland is a **developmental linebacker prospect** for Charlotte whose public college production is extremely limited: in 2021 he logged **3 total tackles** for the 49ers, and Charlotte’s roster/stat pages show no additional recorded stats afterward. His biggest differentiator is upside rather than résumé—his background also includes elite multi-event track-and-field ability, including a **7-foot indoor high jump** at Charlotte, which points to rare explosiveness and body control. If you want a bet on athletic traits and developmental ceiling, he’s intriguing; if you need proven on-field impact right now, the evidence is thin.
