Samaj Jones enters the 2026 season as a young Cincinnati quarterback with real dual-threat juice: he flashed in 2025 with 72 passing yards, 1 passing TD, 83 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD, and his high-school resume at St. Joseph’s Prep showed a big-play ceiling (2,526 passing yards, 32 passing TDs and 740 rushing yards as a junior). He’s still light on college reps, so the question is consistency, but the athleticism, mobility and upside make him a fit for a program that wants a quarterback who can create when structure breaks.
