Jonathan Jones brings proven, all-around linebacker production to Toledo
In the 2021 season, Jonathan Jones earned second-team All-MAC honors for Toledo, and his profile fits the classic high-floor linebacker mold: sturdy at 5-11, 230, active in the run game, and experienced enough to handle traffic in the middle of the defense. Recent stat lines tied to his later career show he has continued to produce as a dependable tackler with pass-rush flashes, which makes him attractive for a team that wants instinct, physicality, and consistency over hype. If Toledo needs a tone-setter who plays with edge, Jones is the kind of veteran presence that quietly wins snaps.
