Ed'Mari Binion brings long, developmental upside to Colorado State’s defensive front
Binion is a 6'6", 265-pound redshirt sophomore DL for Colorado State in the 2026 season, and the appeal is obvious: rare length, a frame that still has room to grow, and a recruiting profile that included a 3-star rating plus senior-year production of 12 TFLs and 4.5 sacks. He redshirted in 2024 and did not record a tackle in his first season of action, so he’s more projection than proven stat-sheet wrecking ball right now—but the ceiling is intriguing if CSU wants a high-upside edge/defensive-line hybrid who can develop into a disruptive force.
