Jalon Baker brings compact speed and depth-chart intrigue to Southeastern Louisiana
Jalon Baker is a redshirt freshman wide receiver for Southeastern Louisiana, listed at 5-6 and 185 pounds, which suggests a low-center-of-gravity, quick-twitch profile that can create separation and bring energy to the offense[1]. He is the kind of player worth watching if you want an undersized, high-effort slot or gadget threat with room to grow, though the available public data does not yet show a breakout statistical résumé at the FCS level[1][2].
