electric lefty with ace-level strikeout production
Brody Trosclair is a high-upside left-handed pitcher whose 2026 freshman season at Northwestern State turned heads: he won Southland Conference Freshman of the Year, earned first-team all-conference honors, and posted a 5-1 record with a 1.89 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 38 innings before an arm injury ended his year early.[1][6] The appeal is the blend of swing-and-miss stuff, strike-throwing, and room to grow—plus the fact that major programs like Tennessee, LSU, and Arkansas showed interest, which is a strong signal of his profile.[1]
