High-Impact, Hard-Hitting LB at the Heart of Morgan State’s Defense
Rico Kennedy profiles as a disruptive, every-down linebacker who has been a steady tackle producer and backfield threat for Morgan State, highlighted by a 2023 season with 61 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and seven quarterback hurries. He brings the kind of physicality and downhill intensity that shows up beyond the box score, and Morgan State has described him as a hard-hitting senior and a player with many responsibilities. That blend of production, edge, and leadership makes him a fit for teams looking for an instinctive, tone-setting linebacker.
