Ryley Norton brings legit right-handed pop and a sturdy first-base profile to Elon
Ryley Norton is a 6-foot-2, 235-pound sophomore first baseman at Elon who arrived with notable prep pedigree, including a top-100-ish national positional ranking and reports of a compact right-handed swing with quick hands, gap-to-gap intent, and above-average bat speed. In high school, he hit .314 with 4 homers in just 35 at-bats, and evaluators praised his soft hands, clean exchanges, and active feet around first base. The fit is straightforward: he looks like a power-oriented corner bat with enough defensive feel to stay on the dirt and enough family baseball bloodlines to suggest he understands the grind.
