Local Montana State lineman who brought depth, special-teams grit, and a team-first finish
Holden Sampson’s Montana State profile shows an offensive guard who contributed in nine games in 2023, mainly on special teams, before graduating and retiring from football. That makes him more of a program-fit story than a stat-sheet star: dependable, coachable, and willing to do the unglamorous work that helps a roster function. If you value toughness, versatility, and a player who embraced his role, he’s the kind of lineman personality teams usually want around.
