Charles Tynes brings steady linebacker production to Marshall’s defense
Charles Tynes has shown up as a reliable, active defender for Marshall, including a five-tackle outing against Virginia Tech in 2026 that hints at solid range and willingness to finish plays. He looks like the kind of linebacker coaches trust for assignment soundness and toughness more than flash, which can make him a good fit if your team needs a dependable tackler who plays with effort and discipline. The big question is ceiling: the available stat line is modest, so he profiles more as a steady role player than an obvious headline-grabbing star.
