proven ballhawk history, but current Louisiana role is unclear
AJ Washington’s most notable track record is his 2019 season at Louisiana, when he recorded 3 interceptions, showing the kind of ball skills that can flip a game in a heartbeat[13]. He’s listed by Louisiana as a 6-foot-1, 178-pound cornerback from Houston[1], but current 2026 roster and stats coverage do not clearly show him as an active contributor, so the big question is availability and role rather than talent[4][7]. If healthy and engaged, he profiles as a disciplined, takeaway-minded CB with upside; if you need immediate, clearly documented production, the current paper trail is thin.
